Graphic Designer we need for cyprus

My client based in Paphos is looking for and experienced and confident Graphics Designer to join the team.

Duties for this position will include:

• Meeting clients or account staff/managers to discuss the business objectives and requirements of a project.

• Interpreting the client''s business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose.

• Estimating the time required in completing a project and providing reports for clients either directly or through other members of the Employer''s staff.

• Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research.

• Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time.

• Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to clients or account staff/managers.

• Thinking creatively to produce new and original ideas and concepts.

• Working with other members of the staff and creating working groups in order to complete a project.

• Promoting a good team spirit and establishing good working relationships with all the members of the Employer''s staff.

• Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief.

• Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work.

• Demonstrating illustrative skills.

• Working with a wide range of media.

• Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as Free Hand, Illustrator, Photoshop etc.

Requirements for this position:

• Solid experience in graphic design

• Experience quoting and managing print jobs, as well as working with printers

• Good working knowledge of Quark Express, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and experience with Microsoft Office

• Organized and detail-oriented

• Ability to handle multiple projects at once

• Ability to meet tight deadlines

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communications or related field or equivalent experience
