Description

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING :-

1.Establish networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.

2.Maximize network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and collaborating with network providers for network optimization.

3.Analyze user needs and recommend appropriate hardware.

4.Ascertain user needs and system requirements in order to design, monitor, and maintain computer networks

5.Design, setup and configure complex wireless networking that supports open or secured access and the ability to support voice and video applications.

6.Maintain a thorough understanding of Local Area Networking.

7.Configuration, Support and administration of firewall.

8.Upgrading data network equipment to latest stable firmware releases.

9.Configuration of routing and switching equipment.

10.Remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur.

11.Configure networks, remote access systems, computers, and periphery equipment including faxes, copiers, and scanners into one system.

12.Monitor system performance to ensure that demands are being met.

13.Install or upgrade software and hardware as per the requirement.

14.Respond to inquiries and provide technical assistance and guide as necessary.

15.Troubleshooting malfunctions of network hardware and software applications and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services.

16.Installing new hardware (servers, printers, computer workstations, etc.) as and when required.

17.Setting up user accounts, permissions and passwords when necessary and ensure new users to have their systems immediately after joining.

18.Maintaining security of all systems, especially the internet, and installing antivirus protection.

19.Planning future improvements, suggesting IT solutions to business problems.

20.Maintain inventory stock and report for any requirement or changes as and when necessary.

21.Assemble and modify existing pieces of equipment to meet special needs.

22.Update knowledge and skills to keep up with rapid advancements in computer technology.

23.Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.

24.Speaking with Clients via email and phone regarding any issues related to their hardware and network and solving their problems by either visiting their office or by the help of remote access.

25.Handle the Clients independently with all processes and client conferences till their problems are solved.

26.Coordinate with client’s engineering team and management to ensure efficiency.
