NIEM is Asia's First and best Event Management Institute. It was formed to cater to the growing needs of the huge multi-dimensioned Event Management Industry in India. Event Management is done at a very huge scale in India. We have the greatest stage and television shows in the world. The growth of sophisticated and mega companies has bought forth a spurt of all types of events. Research showed that there was no formalized education to teach Event Management. Event management companies found that they had to spend a lot of time training personnel and they would lose a perfectly trained person to the competitor for a better bait. Companies found that their executives lacked the expertise to handle events, and hence a growing need was left, to have formalized training in Event Management. So it took a painstaking three years of research by Dr. Hoshi Bhiwandiwalla and his team to start an Event Management Course.
