emiSEAL is a specialised high-emissivity ceramic coating engineered to optimise heat transfer in high-temperature industrial environments. It is designed to be applied on refractory surfaces (such as furnace linings, kiln walls, ovens and other heat-intensive equipment) where large amounts of thermal energy are involved and where efficiency and durability are critical. The coating works by re-radiating heat that would otherwise be absorbed into the refractory lining or lost through the walls, and instead reflecting or emitting that heat back into the process zone — thereby increasing the effective thermal performance of the system. It is suited for high temperature duty (up to approximately 1,200 °C) and is built as an inorganic binder-based system that combines durability with thermal performance. By applying emiSEAL on internal surfaces such as furnace side walls, roofs or refractory linings, operators can reduce the “dead” heat absorbed by the structure and instead direct more energy to the actual load being processed (metal, ceramic, glass, etc). emiSEAL is designed for fairly straightforward application (as a coating system) onto refractory brick, ceramic wool, metal liners or other furnace surfaces.
